CONDOLENCE to the Board of the Cooperative Union, Manchester

Dear colleagues at the Cooperative Union,                            

It was with immense sadness and shock that we learnt of the brutal attack that struck Manchester on Monday night.

We would like to convey our deepest sympathies to the families involved as well as to the whole British people.

From our today´s meeting we are sending you our deepest sympathy and an assurance that our thoughts are with all of you. We wish that such tragedy shall never happen again.

Please pass on our thanks for this, which is appreciated and all the more so coming from the cooperative family internationally. It has been an awful two days and makes us all the more determined to work for values of peace and cooperation.
